Darren Duncan is a seventh-generation Vermilion County resident with deep roots in the local farming community. For over 200 years, his family has worked the land here, and Darren brings that same work ethic and dedication to his role as your County Treasurer. He isn’t just a public official; he is a neighbor committed to protecting the legacy and the future of the place we all call home.

Since taking office, Darren has focused on modernizing the Treasurer’s office to make it more efficient and accessible for everyone. He has spent his tenure fighting against waste and fraud, ensuring that your tax dollars are treated with respect and transparency. Darren and his wife of 30 years, Natalie, have raised four children in this community, and he remains dedicated to building a government that is honest, accountable, and works as hard as the people it serves..
